Terms of Use:

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the Platform of StuDocu (StudeerSnel B.V.). Please read these Terms of Use carefully in order to ensure that you are aware of your rights and obligations when using the Platform. You can download and print this document.

These Terms of Use, inter alia, describe the following aspects of the relationship between you and StuDocu:

  • The provision of Study Material (article 7) and creating a Profile (article 5);
  • The functionalities of the Platform (articles 3- 6);
  • The use of the Expert Q&A functionality (article 8);
  • The notice and take down procedure (article 15);
  • The limitation of liability of StuDocu (article 16).

Article 1. Definitions

In these Terms of Use, the terms listed below have the following meaning:

1.1. Experts: individuals, specialized in a specific subject area / field of study, who provide answers (Expert Answers) to questions submitted by Students (Study Questions) via the Expert Q&A. The Experts are third parties specialized in educational content.

1.2. Expert Answers: all the answers and instructions, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, data, images and illustrations, that Experts make accessible to Students via the Expert Q&A section on the Platform, in response to Study Questions submitted by Students.

1.3. Expert Q&A: a separate section on the Platform, which enables Students to submit Study Questions in specific subject areas, which are then answered by Experts.

1.4. Information: all information placed on the Platform by StuDocu itself, including – but not limited to – the layout and look and feel of the Platform, the logos and trademarks as well as texts. The Information does not include Study Materials.

1.5. Intellectual Property Rights: any and all intellectual property rights and associated rights such as copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights, model rights, trade name rights, database rights and neighbouring rights as well as the rights to know-how and one-line performances (“eenlijnsprestaties”).

1.6. Platform: the online environment developed and offered by StuDocu, which enables Students from around the world to exchange Study Materials and interact with each other. The Platform contains a separate Expert Q&A section where Students can submit Study Questions to Experts and access Expert Answers. The Platform can be accessed through the websites www.studocu.com and www.studeersnel.nl including all underlying domains and web pages, as well as mobile versions of the website and the StuDocu application for tablets and smartphones (“App”).

1.7. Premium Account: a subscription that gives Students access to the most popular Study Materials (“Premium Material”) on the Platform, as well as to certain features and functionalities, such as downloading and printing Study Materials.

1.8. Profile: an individual section created and maintained by you when you register for the Platform.

1.9. Student / you: a User of the Platform.

1.10. Study Material: all the study documents, summaries, notes, assignments and other study materials that are provided by Students or that Students make accessible or publish using the Platform, as well as comments posted in Study Communities.

1.11. Study Questions: questions submitted by Students to Experts via the Expert Q&A section of the Platform.

1.12. StuDocu: StudeerSnel B.V., a private limited company, having its registered offices at Keizersgracht 424 sous, 1016 GC Amsterdam and registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce with company registration number 56829787.

1.13. Study Communities: course discussion groups on the Platforms in which Students can post messages and ask questions.

1.14. Terms of Use: these Terms of Use of StuDocu.

 

Article 2. Applicability

2.1. These Terms of Use govern every use of the Platform. By using the Platform, you accept these Terms of Use. The applicability of any other terms and conditions is excluded.

2.2. StuDocu is entitled to amend or supplement these Terms of Use. The most up-to-date Terms of Use can be found on the Platform. In the event of an amendment or supplementation that significantly affect your rights or obligations, StuDocu will bring these changes to your attention during the use of the Platform.

2.3. In the event that you continue the use of the Platform after these Terms of Use have been amended or supplemented, you thereby irrevocably accept the amended or supplemented Terms of Use. If you do not agree with the amended or supplemented Terms of Use, the only option you have is to no longer use the Platform and to terminate your Profile.

Article 3. Availability

3.1. You accept that the Platform contains only the functionalities and other characteristics as found on the Platform at the time of use (“as is basis”). StuDocu expressly excludes any explicit and tacit guarantees, undertakings and warranties of any nature whatsoever including, but not limited to, with regard to the quality, safety, lawfulness, integrity and accuracy of the Platform, unless explicitly stated otherwise in these Terms of Use.

3.2. You accept that the functionalities of the Platform may change.

3.3. StuDocu is entitled to put the Platform (temporarily) out of service and/or to reduce the use of it without any prior notification and without being obliged to pay compensation to you, if in the opinion of StuDocu this is necessary, for instance, for maintenance of the Platform.

3.4. StuDocu does not guarantee that the Platform or any part thereof will be accessible at all times and without any interruptions or failures. Failures in the Platform can occur as a result of failures in the internet or phone connection or by viruses or faults/defects. StuDocu is not liable or obliged to Students to pay compensation in any way whatsoever for any damage resulting or arising from the website being (temporarily) unavailable.

3.5. StuDocu is at any time entitled to change, alter or shut down the Platform without becoming liable to you in any way. If you do not agree with the changes and/or amendments made by StuDocu, your only remedy is to cease the use of the Platform and to delete your Profile.

Article 4. The Platform

4.1. StuDocu offers a Platform where Students can exchange Study Materials and ask questions and communicate with each other, inter alia through Study Communities. Student can also add course names, book titles and Studylists (as defined below). The Platform also contains a separate Expert Q&A section, where Students can submit Study Questions to Experts and access Expert Answers (for the terms governing the Expert Q&A, see article 8). StuDocu’s mission is to empower Students to excel at their studies by providing the best tools to study more efficiently.

4.2. Most of the Study Materials (approximately 80%) on the Platform are available free of charge and without Students having to create a Profile.

4.3. Some Premium Materials are only available for Students with a Premium Account. Certain functionalities and features of the Platform, such as downloading and printing Study Materials, also require a Premium Account.

4.4. Through the platform Students gain access to millions of Study Materials posted by other Students. StuDocu accepts no liability whatsoever for the Study Material offered by you or other Students by means of the Platform.

4.5. The Platform may contain links to third party websites that are not owned or controlled by StuDocu. StuDocu has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites.

Article 5. Profile

5.1. In order to view Premium Materials and to be able to use certain functionalities, you have to create a Profile in the way described on the Platform. When creating a Profile, you must give an email address and password which will allow you to access the Platform and your Profile. You can also register using your existing Facebook or Google-account.

5.2. You are only allowed to use the Platform when aged sixteen (16) or older. In the event that you have not yet reached the age of sixteen (16), you accept that you need the consent of your legal representative(s) (your guardian or (one of) your parents) before creating a Profile and/or taking out a subscription.

5.3. You are responsible for maintaining secrecy with regard to your registration details. As soon as you know or have reason to assume that your username and/or password has come into the hands of unauthorized persons, you must inform StuDocu of this, without prejudice to your own obligation to take immediate effective measures yourself such as changing your password. You accept and acknowledge that you are at all times responsible and liable for the use of the Platform by third parties via your Profile.

5.4. The personal data you provide during the registration process will be processed in accordance with Studocu’s Privacy Policy Statement.

5.5. You acknowledge and agree that by creating a Profile your user name, university and (if provided) profile picture are visible to other Students if you post Study Materials and/or place comments, unless you choose to post Study Materials and or partake in Study Communities anonymously.

Article 6. Premium Account

6.1. Students can obtain Premium access by either posting Study Material to the Platform or by taking out a quarterly or yearly subscription. The prices are communicated on the Platform.

6.2. Payment is due in the manner described on the Platform.

6.3. For every document that you post, you can earn days of full Premium access. The number of days will be communicated via the Platform.

6.4. StuDocu offers a 30 days free trial subscription, which allows you to view Premium Material available on the Platform. However, additional features such as printing and downloading Study Materials, remain exclusive to the full Premium subscription. After 30 days, your trial subscription automatically extends into a quarterly full Premium subscription, unless you cancel the subscription prior to that date. You can unsubscribe at any time via your Profile and no deductions will be made. After unsubscribing, you will retain access for the remainder of the trial period.

6.5. It is possible that StuDocu offers longer/shorter free trial subscriptions in specific circumstances, such as actions for study societies. The applicable conditions will then be communicated by StuDocu.

6.6. StuDocu may introduce or change the subscription fees from time to time, for which we will give you advance notice. If your current subscription is still running, the price will remain in force for the fixed term. If you do not agree with the price change, you must cancel your subscription by the end of the then-current subscription term. If you do not cancel your subscription after the price change goes into effect, you agree to pay the changed price.

6.7. StuDocu may suspend or cancel your Premium Account if a payment is not successfully settled.

6.8. The subscription period will be renewed automatically for the selected subscription period, unless you have cancelled your subscription on time (before the last day of your subscription). In case your subscription is automatically renewed, you have the right to cancel the subscription at any time after such renewal with a cancellation term of one (1) month. In case of cancellation you may request reimbursement of part of the subscription fee. This means that you pay for the period until the cancellation enters into force, based on the standard monthly fee.

Article 7. Study Materials

7.1. By means of the Platform Students can post Study Material for the courses and university selected by them. This Study Material can subsequently be viewed and downloaded by other users.

7.2. You have the possibility to create so-called Studylists, containing Study Materials selected by you relating to a certain course or subject. These Studylists are visible to other Students.

7.3. Your Profile will state what Study Material you offer on the Platform.

7.4. For each new posting you earn one (1) lottery ticket (see article 14) and free Premium access for 14 days.

7.5. The manner in which the Study Material can be posted to the Platform as well as the permitted formats are stated on the Platform.

7.6. You understand and accept that you are responsible and accountable for the Study Material you post on the Platform. You decide what Study Material you post on the Platform. StuDocu is not liable to you or any third party for any damages arising out of or in relation to the Study Material created and shared by you within the Platform.

7.7. You understand and accept that StuDocu does not, and is under no obligation to, check or (re)view Study Material of other Students. StuDocu only conducts an automated (quality) check to verify whether the Study Material contains sufficient texts and/or pages. StuDocu has no knowledge of and/or influence on or involvement with the Study Materials posted by Students.

7.8. StuDocu reserves the right to convert the Study Materials you uploaded to another format and to automatically insert a watermark and/or advertisements in the Study materials..

7.9. If you or a visitor of the Platform are of the opinion that certain Study Material is unlawful, you can report this to StuDocu. StuDocu retains the right to remove Study Materials in accordance with article 15.

7.10. StuDocu retains the right to decline or remove Study Material from the Platform (for example if the Study Material in question is reported and/or gets negative ratings) and/or to relocate the Study Material, without accepting any responsibility or liability for its contents, without being held liable for any damage and without being obliged to pay any compensation.

7.11. You can delete your Study Materials via our Support Page.

Article 8. Expert Q&A

8.1. By means of the separate Expert Q&A section on the Platform, Students can submit Study Questions for available subjects to be answered by an Expert specialized in a specific subject area. The Expert Answers will be available for Students via a database in the Expert Q&A section on the Platform.

8.2. To submit Study Questions via the Expert Q&A, you will need to create a Profile.

8.3. You accept and agree that the Experts are not employees or agents of StuDocu. StuDocu solely facilitates the Expert Q&A, which enables Students to get in contact with an Expert in a specific subject area.

8.4. The Platform will specify for which Students in which countries and for which subjects the Expert Q&A Section and the Expert Answers are available and under what conditions. StuDocu reserves the right to limit the availability of Expert Q&A to Students with a Premium Account and/or to make the Expert Q&A subject to payment/subscription. The manner in which Students can submit Study Questions via the Expert Q&A section is also stated on the Platform. StuDocu can limit the number of questions a Student can submit per day (or other time unit).

8.5. The Experts strive to answer a Study Question within 2 hours after the Study Question has been assigned to them. StuDocu, however, does not guarantee that an Expert Answer is always provided within this time frame and does not accept liability in this regard.

8.6. Students agree to only submit clear and specific Study Questions that:

    • relate to a clearly identified subject/ field of study for which Expert Q&A is available;
    • include all the relevant information the Expert needs to best help them;
    • are paraphrased in the Students’ own words, are not copy-pasted directly from another source, and do not infringe Intellectual Property Rights;
    • are clearly focused on one single question; and
    • do not include inappropriate words/phrases;

Study Questions that do not adhere to (any of) these requirements, to be decided at the Expert’s own discretion, shall not be answered. Students may be required to make revisions/clarifications to a Study Question before the Expert can start providing explanations, which will extend the time within which they will receive an Expert Answer.

8.7. Students accept and acknowledge that the Study Questions and the Expert Answers shall be made available via a database on the Platform and may be read, collected and used by other Students.

8.8. You agree to only use the Expert Q&A for legitimate (study) purposes and to act with academic integrity. This means, inter alia, that you will not misuse the Expert Q&A for cheating purposes and/or that you will not copy Expert Answers directly from our Platform and submit them as your own work.

8.9. The Expert Answers are to be used for general information purposes only, not as a substitute for in-person evaluation or specific professional advice. StuDocu is not liable for the accuracy or completeness of the Expert Answers.

8.10. You understand and accept that you are responsible and accountable  for the Study Questions you submit via the Expert Q&A. StuDocu is not liable to you or any third party for any damages arising out of, or in relation to, the Study Questions you submit via the Expert Q&A.

8.11. You understand and accept that StuDocu does not, and is under no obligation to, check or (re)view the Study Questions and Expert Answers. StuDocu may, however, edit the Study Questions and Expert Answers in the database and/or have them (automatically) translated in one more languages, so that more Students can benefit from them.

8.12. StuDocu retains the right to remove Study Questions and/or Expert Answers in accordance with article 16.

8.13. Students can review and rate the Expert Answers they receive via the Platform. StuDocu retains the right to decline or remove Study Questions or Expert Answers from the Platform, without accepting any responsibility or liability for its contents, without being held liable for any damage and without being obliged to pay any compensation.

Article 9. Your obligations and use of the Platform

9.1. You will only use the Study Materials and/or Expert Answers offered on thee Platform as a study aid and in accordance with academic integrity.

9.2. You may not resell, distribute, or in any other way make profit of the Platform.

9.3. You shall not post entire (e-)books to the Platform.

9.4. You are not permitted to use the Platform for a purpose as listed below, make Study Material available or submit a Study Question:

    • which is unrelated to the purpose of StuDocu;
    • as your own work if it is not, as this is in breach of copyright. This is also plagiarism and constitutes academic misconduct at all academic institutions;
    • which, at the discretion of StuDocu, is discriminating or is otherwise deemed hurtful, offensive or inappropriate;
    • in which personal data of others is made available, other than in compliance with applicable law;
    • which contains scrapers, spiders, viruses, Trojan horses, worms, bots or other software which can damage or delete the Platform or make it unusable or inaccessible, or which or which is intended to circumvent technical protection measures of StuDocu, the Website and/or the computer systems of StuDocu;
    • which infringes the rights of StuDocu and/or third parties, including but not limited to intellectual property rights or rights concerning the protection of privacy;
    • which qualifies as or transmits unwanted or unsolicited material or content (spam);
    • is contrary to these Terms of Use or any applicable laws or regulations, is in any other manner unlawful or which could prejudice the interests and reputation of StuDocu.

9.5. StuDocu will not be obliged to perform any payment, taxation, levy or deduction of any nature whatsoever to anyone as a result of Study Materials or Study Questions posted by you, including to persons or parties whose work, model, brand or performance is included in the Study Materials or Study Questions, including to collective rights organizations.

9.6. StuDocu reserves the right, without prior notice, to abridge, alter, refuse and/or remove Study Materials and/or Study Questions and/or comments by you if this is necessary in StuDocu’s opinion, without this resulting in any liability.

9.7. StuDocu is entitled to (temporarily) restrict or suspend your activities in connection with the Platform and/or to delete your Profile in the event you violate these Terms of Use.

Article 10. Intellectual property rights

10.1. The Intellectual Property Rights in relation to the Platform, including the intellectual property rights with respect to the Information, are held by StuDocu or its licensors. Nothing in the Terms of Use is intended to entail any transfer of Intellectual Property Rights to you.

10.2. Under the conditions set out in these Terms of Use, StuDocu grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sub licensable and non-transferable right to access and use the Platform, including the Information, insofar as is necessary for the use of the Platform.

10.3. The collection of Study Materials, Information and Expert Answers, that is collected by StuDocu and displayed on the Platform is a legally protected database. StuDocu is the producer of the database and therefore has the exclusive right to grant permission for i) the extraction or re-utilization of the entirety or a substantial part, from a quantitative and/or qualitative point of view, of the contents of the database and ii) the repeated and systematic extraction or re-utilization of non-substantial parts, from a quantitative and/or qualitative point of view, of the contents of the database, in so far as this is in conflict with the normal operation of the database or causes unjustified damage to StuDocu’s lawful interests. You may only request or reuse data from the database if and in so far as this is permitted under these Terms and Conditions.

10.4. You retain all Intellectual Property Rights to your Study Material and Study Questions. By making available Study Material and/or Study Questions via the Platform you automatically grant StuDocu a free, unencumbered, global, non-exclusive, perpetual and irrevocable license to use this Study Material and Study Questions in connection with the Platform and for the Platform’s marketing and/or promotional purposes. This license does not end when you remove your Profile and/or you discontinue the use of the Platform.

10.5. You hereby waive your moral rights to Study Material and Study Questions, in so far as applicable and in so far as possible.

10.6. You warrant that there are no (Intellectual Property) Rights of third parties which preclude you from making the Study Material and Study Questions available through the Platform and/or providing the license as mentioned in Article 10.4.

10.7. You shall refrain from any act that infringes the Intellectual Property Rights of StuDocu, including – but not limited to – the registration of domain names, trademarks or Google Adwords that are identical or similar to any object to which StuDocu holds Intellectual Property Rights, as well as the reproduction, modification, reverse engineering or publishing of the Platform, including the Information, for other purposes than those listed in the Terms of Use.

Article 11. Indemnities and warranties

11.1. You guarantee that you will not use the Platform in a way that (i) infringes the rights of StuDocu or third parties, including – but not limited to – Intellectual Property Rights or rights in relation to the protection of privacy, (ii) is contrary to any current legislation or regulations, or (iii) is contrary to any provision in these Terms of Use.

11.2. You are liable and indemnify StuDocu against any and all claims of third parties based on the allegation that the Study Material infringes any Intellectual Property Right or other right of third parties or is otherwise unlawful against third parties as well as against all claims resulting from your actions in violation with these Terms of Use. All costs incurred and damages suffered by StuDocu which are in any way related to the abovementioned claims will be remunerated by you.

11.3. StuDocu does not guarantee (i) the Platform’s fitness for a particular purpose or that the Platform shall meet any of your requirements, (ii) that the Platform shall be available to you at all times and without interruptions or disturbances; (iii) that the Study Material and/or Information and/or Expert Answers on the Platform are accurate, up to date or complete.

Article 12. New Universities

12.1. To introduce the Platform at a new university, StuDocu can temporarily offer an incentive to Students to start using the Platform and to post Study Material. The purpose is to attract Students from that university and to obtain some initial Study Material relating to courses at said university. The decision to offer an incentive is made at the sole discretion of StuDocu.

12.2. StuDocu’s system will automatically make an offer after a Student has posted one or more Study Materials in accordance with article 10.1. This offer is made automatically and based on an algorithm. You will be paid via PayPal within 1-2 business days after acceptance.

12.3. If you accept the offer, the Study Materials posted by you will be published on the Platform.

12.4. You accept and acknowledge that StuDocu only offers an incentive at a selected number of (new) universities for a limited period of time decided by StuDocu. If StuDocu does not or no longer offers incentives, you accept that you use the Platform and/or post Study Materials voluntarily and for free. In using the Platform, you can however earn Premium access days and lottery tickets (see articles 6 and 14).

12.5. Students cannot derive any rights from the fact that StuDocu is (temporarily) incentivizing Students at another university.

Article 13. Downloading and sharing Study Material

13.1. Students with a Profile and a Premium Account have the ability to download Study Materials from the Platform for personal use only. Your Profile will show what Study Material you have downloaded.

13.2. Downloading Study Material is allowed, provided that you do not violate our Fair Use Policy. This policy states that you can download a maximum of 50 documents per day, with a maximum of 100 documents per month.

13.3. You accept and acknowledge that sharing Study Materials is only permitted using a link to the Platform. You are not permitted to share Study Materials that you have downloaded by other means that a link.

Article 14. The StuLottery

14.1. To show our appreciation to all the Students who use the Platform, StuDocu has created the StuDocu lottery. Students who have posted Study Material automatically compete for prices each month.

14.2. Students receive 1 lottery ticket for every 50 points they accrue. Points can be earned by posting Study Material and/or by receiving a comment, an upvote or a document view.

14.3. The lottery is drawn at the end of every month. Any tickets you have accrued for that month will be automatically entered. At the beginning of each month your points and tickets will be reset.

14.4. If you have deleted Study Materials any points earned from those Materials will be removed.

Article 15. Notice of alleged unlawful material & repeat infringers

15.1. StuDocu respects the (Intellectual Property) Rights of others and takes the protection of (Intellectual Property) Rights seriously. Although StuDocu is not liable for any damages in connection with the (illegal) use of the Platform by Students, StuDocu will, under the conditions as set out in this Article, remove Study Material(s), Study Questions and/or Expert Answers that is (are) infringing and/or unlawful and stop manifestly unlawful behavior after receiving a notification that is sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated.

15.2. If you claim that certain Study Material, Expert Answers or Study Question infringe on your (Intellectual Property) Rights, you can report this alleged infringement to StuDocu by filling in the contact form or by notifying our Copyright Agent, Reynald Fasciaux, via StudeerSnel B.V., attn. Copyright Agent, Keizersgracht 424 sous, 1016 GC Amsterdam or via [email protected]. We will examine the notice and, if possible and necessary, take the measures stated in this article.

15.3. StuDocu reserves the right to not grant a request to remove Study Materials, Expert Answers or Study Questions or to stop an activity in case it has reasonable grounds to doubt the accuracy of the notification or in case a balancing of interest requires this. In such a situation, StuDocu can require a court order from a competent court, to demonstrate that the material or the activity is manifestly unlawful.

15.4. Prior to removal of any alleged unlawful Study Material(s), Expert Answers or Study Questions, StuDocu may request and the notifying party shall provide, additional information substantiating that the notifying party is indeed the rightsholder, and StuDocu may request and the notifying party shall provide, a signed copy of an indemnification declaration for StuDocu.

15.5. StuDocu will not be a party in a dispute between the person making the report and any third party arising out of or in connection with a notification.

15.6. StuDocu has a policy of terminating accounts of Students who repeatedly and intentionally infringe the Intellectual Property Rights of others.

15.7. The notifying party indemnifies StuDocu against all claims of third parties in relation to the blocking or removal of Study Materials or the stopping of activities as a result of the notification. The indemnification includes all damages and costs StuDocu suffers, could suffer or which StuDocu must incur in relation to such a claim, including but not limited to the compensation of legal assistance.

15.8. StuDocu respects and protects the privacy of those who provide notifications. All personal data that it receives as part of a notification will only be used to process the notice.

15.9. StuDocu reserves the right to forward the notice to the Student responsible for the Study Material to which the notice refers.

Article 16. Liability

16.1. StuDocu accepts no liability whatsoever for damages resulting from the provision of the Platform, including damage resulting from or in connection with the use of the Platform or from wrongful acts or otherwise, in so far as this is permitted pursuant to mandatory law.

16.2. In the event that StuDocu – despite the above – is liable, this liability is limited to direct damages the Student suffers as a result of a shortcoming or wrongful act that can be attributed to StuDocu. Direct damage only includes material damage to goods, reasonable costs incurred to prevent or limit direct damage and reasonable costs incurred to determine the cause of the damage. StuDocu shall in no event be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages whatsoever (“indirect damages”), including – but not limited to – loss and/or damage of data (including Study Material), loss of profits and lost sales, is excluded.

16.3. StuDocu’s liability is in any case limited to the highest of the following amounts: (i) the amount actually paid by StuDocu’s insurance company, or (ii) € 1.000 (thousand euros).

16.4. The limitations and exclusions of liability mentioned in the preceding paragraphs of this article will lapse if and in so far as the damage is the result of intentional or willful recklessness on the part of StuDocu or its managers (“own actions”).

Article 17. Force Majeure

17.1. In the case of force majeure, the non-fulfillment of the agreement between you and StuDocu cannot be counted as an attributable failure and StuDocu is released from all contractual obligations and liability.

17.2. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, illness of employees and/or absence of personnel crucial for the provision of the Platform, disruptions of the electricity supply, fire, natural disasters, strikes, floods, failures to perform by third parties hired by StuDocu, disturbances in the internet connection, hardware disruptions, disruptions in the (telecommunications) networks and other unforeseen circumstances.

Article 18. Termination

18.1. You are entitled to discontinue your use of the Platform and to terminate your Profile.

18.2. You accept and acknowledge that any Study Materials posted, and Study Questions submitted, by you beforehand, will in principle remain accessible via the Platform.

Article 19. Miscellaneous

19.1. These Terms of Use and the use of the Platform are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands.

19.2. Any and all disputes arising from or related to the Platform or the Terms of Use will be brought before the competent court in Amsterdam, unless compulsory law mandates otherwise.

19.3. If at any time any provision of these Terms of Use is or becomes illegal, void or invalid for any reason whatsoever, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the Terms of Use and such invalid provision shall be replaced by another provision which, being valid in all respects, shall have effect as close as possible to that of such replaced one.

19.4. StuDocu is entitled to assign any rights and obligations that result from these Terms of Use to third parties, in which case it will notify you. In the event that you cannot agree with the assignment, your only remedy is to cease the use of the Platform and delete your Profile.
